How To Put Animated Wallpaper On Windows 7

Today I would like to show you how to put animated wallpaper on you windows 7 desktop, that is you can set any video file in wmv or mpeg format as you desktop background and for that you will need a tool or software named DreamScene Seven.

DreamScene Seven is a free program/tool/software that allows you to set a video file as your Windows 7 desktop background.


In Windows Vista this function was already available in the name Dream Scene but when it came to Windows 7 they replaced this function with wallpaper slide show feature and deactivated DreamScene and kept it out of the reach of users. But with the help of DreamScene Seven you will be able to activate this feature on your Windows 7.

In order to install this program you must have administrative privileges on your Windows 7(Download Link at the bottom of this post). If it show you any administrative problems, right click on the setup file you downloaded and click on Run as administrator.

After installation double click on the DreamScene Seven icon on you desktop.

A window like the one in the above picture will be opened. Now click on Install DreamScene.

It may take some time and sometimes it may show Not Responding, just ignore and it will work. Now right click on any video file in wmv or mpeg format click on Set as Desktop Background and voila. Now your desktop will have that video as your background.
