New 13-inch MacBook Pro specs leaked early?

New 13-inch MacBook Pro specs leaked early?

A Chinese forum claims to have a photo from a U.S.-based Apple employee who purportedly snapped an image of the device's specs.

Speculation abounds that Apple will be launching a new MacBook Pro line in the coming weeks. And now, a leaked image has surfaced claiming to show off some new features.
A forum poster on Chinese Web site Weiphone claims (Translate) to have received an image from a U.S.-based Apple employee of the spec sheet for an upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro. And although the changes to that device are not major, the list includes mention of a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, upgraded from the 2.4GHz option already available in the cheaper 13-inch model.
Aside from that, the spec sheet shows the same amount of RAM, the same-sized hard drive, and the identical 8x SuperDrive optical drive. A Thunderbolt port will once again find its way to the computer, but according to the spec sheet, the Mac will boast two USB 3.0 ports, rather than the current USB 2.0. The image also includes mention of Bluetooth 4.0 support.

Last month, Bloomberg reported that Apple was planning to unveil new MacBooks at its Worldwide Developers Conference next week. That followed a similar story from a host of other publications, including 9to5Mac, which have cited sources saying the same.
Those reports have been coupled with a host of claims related to the computers' new designs. According to Bloomberg's report from last month, Apple's new MacBook line will be thinner and come with both Retina Displays and Flash memory. Judging by the image, however, that might not be the case -- at least in the 13-inch model.
